Overview
Pose Browser Pro is a pose and animation library with a mirroring engine that actually holds up on real rigs. Store single poses or whole clips, browse and search a library that has outgrown scrolling, and apply to a selection or the entire rig — then mirror a pose 1:1 even when the rig names its controls however it likes.
What it solves
Most pose tools mirror by guessing from control names, and quietly drop the attributes they do not understand — so a mirrored pose lands close but wrong, especially on the face. Pose Browser Pro mirrors the hard way, per frame, so hands, feet and facial controls land exactly where they should.
How it works
- Save a pose or a whole clip into a category in your library.
- Browse or search by tag, then apply to a selection or the full rig.
- Mirror across the rig — the per-frame solver handles arbitrary rigs, Advanced Skeleton included.
- Share rig profiles and studio libraries so the team draws from the same poses.

- WorldRest solver
- Mirroring is solved from a per-frame WorldRest matrix rather than by matching names, which is why it works on rigs it has never seen.
- Non-TRS attributes
- Custom controls — roll toes, FK/IK blends, brow and lid values — are carried through the mirror instead of being silently dropped.

Which versions of Maya are supported?
Maya 2022 through 2027, on Windows, macOS and Linux. The Qt shim layer handles PySide2 and PySide6 automatically, so the same install works across versions.
Do I need to be online to use ROM AnimTools?
No. Pro licenses carry a 30-day offline grace period. Your tools keep working on set, on a plane, or behind a studio firewall.
What happens to my files if my subscription lapses?
Nothing. Paid features lock, but your pose libraries, brushes, and drawings are yours and stay on your disk. You fall back to the Starter bundle.
Can I use one license on more than one machine?
Yes — Pro includes seats you can activate and deactivate yourself from your account, so a desktop and a laptop are no problem.
