How updates reach you.
Checked from inside Maya
ROM Hub asks the update feed what is current and compares it against what you have installed. Nothing downloads until you ask it to.
Verified before it installs
Every package carries a SHA-256 digest. ROM Hub checks the downloaded file against it before extracting anything, so a corrupted or tampered download fails safely instead of half-installing.
Only what your licence grants
The feed is entitlement-filtered. Starter sees Starter updates; Pro sees everything. You are never offered a tool your plan does not include.
Stable and beta channels
Stable is the default. A beta channel exists for early builds — useful if you want a fix before it is general, but not what you want mid-production.
